Die Begegnung findet vom 13. bis 19. November 2016 in Oświęcim/Auschwitz (Polen) statt. Die gemeinsame Sprache der Teilnehmenden ist Englisch. Deshalb folgen die weiteren Erläuterungen in englischer Sprache:

This year’s edition of the German-Polish-Ukrainian educational project “Learning from History” focuses on the issue of hate speech in historical and contemporary perspectives. During this seminar the participants will have a unique opportunity to visit the State Museum Auschwitz-Birkenau, get to know about hate speech in the NS-propaganda in the 1930s, discuss contemporary forms of hate speech and the ways to counteract it. The poster-workshop in the final part of the seminar will help the participants to process the things seen and heard, learn to make posters and enjoy the team-work.
